What We Believe

We believe in God the father Almighty Creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who spoke by the prophets and is worshiped and glorified. We believe there is only one holy universal and apostolic church.

We believe in the communion of saints and the forgiveness of sins.
And we look for the resurrection of the dead and the life everlasting.
We believe the Lord’s Supper (blessing the bread and wine and partaking thereof) was continued by the church after the Day of Pentecost in remembrance of Jesus death, burial and resurrection.
We acknowledge baptism for the remission of sins according to Acts 2:38 and Matthew 28:19
